Greg Olsen has been traded to the Panthers for a pick and a player to be named later. Nothing's known yet about who this player is or what round or year the pick is in, but Olsen is as of now a Carolina Panther. We'll keep you updated when more details are made known.

EDITOR'S NOTE: Brad Biggs reported the trade as finalized is Greg Olsen to CAR for a 3rd round pick only, no player coming back.

According to Brad Biggs, the Panthers are also believed to have reached a contract extension with Olsen.

On the heels of this news, Vaughn McClure says the Bears have officially begun pursuing Roy Williams, who was released this afternoon by the Cowboys.

We'll keep this going as another free-agency thread for you. Lots going on today and stay tuned to this thread for more updates.
