Carimi was incidentally involved in a draft day incident by the Bears that incensed the Ravens. Chicago was trying to trade up to No. 26 to take Carimi but didn’t call the deal into the league office. Baltimore ended up missing out on their pick and had to select at No. 27. The Bears got their player, Carimi, at No. 29 anyway.

This only hurts the Bears reputation, but I’m not sure that will affect anything going forward. Obviously, the Ravens have no intentions of dealing with JA anytime soon.
