In a recent Pro Football Weekly article about the possibility of Major Wright being a starting safety for the Bears in 2011, they give some insight on the future of Danieal Manning.
We're hearing the Bears will only re-sign S Danieal Manning if he agrees to return at their price, and the team is not expected to offer him the deal he's seeking.
They have their people, just like every other publication has their people, but this makes sense. If someone offers Manning some serious money he'll be somewhere else next year.
