Lovie Smith Not Impressed By Craig Steltz

Gene Chamberlain: One big practice by S Craig Steltz that included two INTs didn't impress coach Lovie Smith much. "But that's normally what he does in training camp," Smith said. "He makes plays and for whatever reason he hasn't gotten an opportunity to play a lot in the regular season. But we noticed him. That's what it's about -- not blending in, making a few big plays for people to take notice."

He's not saying he's unimpressed

he’s saying that Steltz always makes plays in training camp, but he know that he disappears in the regular season, so he’s not going to get overly excited yet. He’s saying Steltz made the coaching staff notice him and that’s what the preseason is for
