John Mullin: "Mike Martz likely would welcome a veteran as his backup quarterback after the bad last week and shaky first game Caleb Hanie had. And if the struggles under center continue (and no Bears quarterback is looking especially good right now, including Jay Cutler), the offensive coordinator might get one."

Cutler: “Hey guys (Martz, Lovie, Angelo), you see that thing in the corner?”
Lovie, looks: “Nope.”
Martz: “What, the server?”
Cutler: “No, that thing… (points) it looks like a damn elephant! What’s an elephant doing in the room?”
Angelo: “Probably a prank, doesn’t mean anything.”
Martz: “Anyway, Jay, how’s your head feeling?”
