Around SBN: Trent Richardson Interviews Fellow Brown Brandon Weeden

From Sean Jensen's Twitter - MLB Brian Urlacher is dealing with a family matter, and his status for the next few days is uncertain, according to sources.

For those more concerned about his status for Sunday: show some tact and sensitivity, please.

I wish him and his kids the best in dealing with it.

Broken + blended families are a tough chore, but worth the sacrifice and effort.

Well, my instinctive assumption was wrong,

but wishing the best to his entire extended family through all circumstances.

I love being warned for some heinous thing I won't do.

Because that says everything it needs to say about society. Best wishes to Brian and whatever this involves. Hopefully everything works out regardless.

Above all; keep 'em guessing, never let them lose their sense of confusion.

That warning link was a tweet from Jensen

Apparently some d-bags were worried if he’ll play. I knew our members would be respectful.

Blanket tweet

Although the majority of people refrained from inappropriate responses, I’m sure some were worried more about their fantasy numbers than the difficulties a fellow human being might be encountering…

Brian's a grown ass man and a professional.

He’ll do what he needs to, on the field and off.

I really hope he gets that sorted out for the best.

It doesn’t say whether its positive or negative. I’ll blindly hope its positive and icing on the cake for an amazing week 1.

Just read the update, so much for that theory.

It’s never good when something takes a turn for the worse with mom. He’s gotta do whats best for him and if that means missing the Saints game then so be it.

I know what it’s like, to have your mother ill, and i know what it’s like to lose her, i wouldn’t wish that upon anybody and I hope everything works out for Lach.

Yeah, now may not be the time for witticisms.

It’s against my natural inclination as well.

Best wishes, Brian.

On work-life balance:
Imagine life as a game in which you are juggling some five balls in the air. You name them – work, family, health, friends and spirit – and you’re keeping all of these in the air. You will soon understand that work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back. But the other four balls – family, health, friends and spirit – are made of glass. If you drop one of these, they will be irrevocably scuffed, marked, nicked, damaged or even shattered. They will never be the same. You must understand that and strive for balance in your life.

—Brian G. Dyson

Best wishes to the Urlacher Family

Family always comes first.

Best Wishes Brian...and some info to help show how close he is to his mother.

I already knew mosts of this but copied it from Wikipedia:

Brian Urlacher was born to Bradley and Lavoyda Urlacher in Pasco, Washington. After his parents separated, Lavoyda raised Urlacher and his siblings in Lovington, New Mexico. He spent his youth immersed in sports, and developed an interest in football, basketball, and later table tennis he graduated from Lovington High School in 1995. While his mother worked several jobs to keep her family afloat, Urlacher spent his teenage years playing sports for Lovington High School and training in weight rooms. The training helped Urlacher gain the speed, stamina, and strength he would need to solidify his football career.
