Last Post: One week left for Survivor Pool

Hey guys

Don't mean to take up a lot of space here, but I have been running a survivor pool for 4 years now. WCG has graciously let me post here in the past a few times to drum up some interest and we have indeed gotten more than a few readers from the blog to participate. Please note that this is not an official SBNation or WindyCityGridiron thing. Read on if you're interested in finding out more. Deadline is kickoff on Sunday, September 11th for sign-up and payment.

So, briefly, a survivor pool is where you pick 1 team to win their Week 1 matchup. If you pick incorrectly, you're done. If you are among the survivors, you pick in Week 2. This continues on until everyone except one person is eliminated and that person takes the pot. The catch is that you can never select a team more than once per season. The entry fee is $30 and last year the winner took home nearly $3000.

Please email me if you have any further questions. The website looks a little like it's out of 1996, but it's functional and cheap to maintain. When you go to somebody's house, you don't crap on their floor. Being a fan of one team does NOT give you license to be a dick to fans of another.

Corollary: When people are visiting your house and behaving themselves, them being a fan of a different team is NOT a reason for you to piss in their beer.

Got eliminated after week 8 2 years ago, if my records are correct. Maybe you’ve stepped up your game this year RR. I know I haven’t I expect the AFC West to continue to eliminate me.
