Lets think about this for a second.

I was talking to my Uncle yesterday who, as well as I am, a lifelong Bears fan. We got pretty in depth with what happened in the Saints game and all that stuff that most of us were probably upset  with. Then I got to thinking, what are we going to do in the future with the current front office that we have? (That being if we have a non-playoff season)

Hear me out on this. Being that Cutler is in his prime age for most QB's, we dont have a servicable line in my opinion, and lets be real for a second and come to the conclusion that we dont have a legit number one reciever. With Urlacher, Briggs, Peppers, Tillman all being the leaders of the defense and all being 30 plus years old, where do we begin setting up for the future. If our needs over the next couple of years are WR,OL,LB,CB, then explain to me how we are going to upgrade all of those positions and still be in contention. I guess I just have a hard time seeing it. Briggs wants out of Chicago and even if he stays probably has a couple years left in him. Urlacher is still a beast but is one strong injury away from hurting our entire defense. Tillman is still pretty good but pretty good and declining. Peppers is obviously still one of the best DE's i the league but is also reaching the last couple of years in his career. With 4 picks in the first 3 rounds of the draft plus free agency, it will be interesting to say the least to see what happens with this team. Im not counting this season out after the first 2 weeks, but what about the future?
