Despite finishing the season on IR and missing out on 1,000 yards rushing, Matt Forte made the Pro Bowl and is now a finalist for the 2011 Vizio Top Value Performer (TVP) Award, which honors NFL players whose on-field production far exceeds their respective salaries. Forte will be competing against: Dallas WR Laurent Robinson, Giants WR Victor Cruz, Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski, and 49ers OLB Navorro Bowman. This is probably between Cruz and Gronk
and both deserve it…dunno what their respective salaries are, though…
on a pure Production per $ scale, Forte probably tops out ($600,000? Really?…Also, its pretty funny that a guy making that much is “severely underpaid,” but that’s America for you)
Pretty good canidates
I don’t think Matt will win, but then there are alot of Bears fans out there. Cruz should be 4th and then it’s more of a toss-up.
