AFC Divisional Playoffs: Houston Texans At Baltimore Ravens Open Thread

So last night, the Niners matched New Orleans point for point and took the lead in the final minute to drop the Saints, and Tebowtime came to a screeching halt as Tom Brady and the Patriots went off. Will any of today's action match that?

Houston took down Cincinnati last week in the wild card round in a battle of rookie quarterbacks to win their first ever playoff game, and now TJ Yates and company head to Baltimore to face the second-seeded Ravens.

As always, Open Thread Responsibly (TM).

Seriously Cutler's success was remarkable

We have to be the only team that stripped their franchise QB of weapons. Yeah let’s take away his best target, go sign an underachieving hasbeen at WR, give him an undrafted WR for a go to guy, and piss off his starting RB. “OK Jay now get us to the Super Bowl!”

Hey Rose. I don't see the appeal!

Flacco has been in the play offs for 4 years in a row.

He’s been in the NFL for…4 years. He’s won 44 games in 4 years. That’s the most by any quarterback. Ever. He’s obviously doing something correctly.

Yeah because he's done that all on his own right?

Read what I said. I said these QBs have been given WEAPONSand still can’t get it done. Getting it done is getting to a SB. At some point winning a few playoff games aren’t enough when teams have given you nothing but talent on the offensive end. It’s not like Flacco is throwing to Roy Williams.

Hey Rose. I don't see the appeal!

by Dils on Jan 15, 2012 1:25 PM CST up reply actions

LOL

Sanchez has only played for 3 years, Ryan and Flacco for 4…You really expect them to win SB in 3 and 4 years? Ignorance. Typical meatball… If you don’t win a SB every year then you must suck. Nice one.

This game is not very exciting

Flacco is not elite, as much as he wants to be. He’s good but not great.

It’s like Boomer said in the pregame show; He needs a running game to succeed, guys like Brady and Rodgers can do it alone, while Flacco and Sanchez need strong run games.

Jay Cutler is still my quarterback.
