Sounds like a good hire to me
Just curious, how recent was he with the Badgers? I wonder if he has ties with Gabe Carimi and/or any of their current draft eligible O-Lineman. Being associated with the O-Line while having a coaching resume which includes Wisconsin is always a good thing IMO, considering they’ve always had one of the better units in all of college football.
Jay Cutler is our QB, and I for one am proud of that

Great Hire
He coached three lineman that were drafted last year, and another three that will likely be drafted this year. Also coached Joe Thomas. This man is a great hire and regarded as one of the best o-line coaches in college.
Pitt Newspaper...
is saying this report is false now.

My best info is that #Pitt Bob Bostad is NOT leaving to be the OL coach of #Bears … Pitt will issue a formal denial shortly

Update from ESPN Chicago
The Chicago Bears have narrowed their list of candidates for offensive line coach to “five or six,” including recently hired University of Pittsburgh offensive coordinator Bob Bostad and former St. Louis Rams offensive line coach Steve Loney, according to a source.
The source said it “will be a while” before the team makes a decision on the position, and the scheduled interview Tuesday of recently promoted offensive coordinator Mike Tice for the head coaching job of the Oakland Raiders adds fluidity to the situation.
