Bears special teams coach Dave Toub to interview with Dolphins
Quite possibly the most successful coach of the Lovie Smith Era in Chicago, special teams guru Dave Toub will finally get his shot at a head coaching position. The Chicago Tribune's Brad Biggs is reporting that Toub will fly down to Miami to interview with the Dolphins.
Lovie Smith just today said that he knows Toub has high aspirations, and Eagles head coach Andy Reid has also stated that Toub would make a good head coach one day.

Well if he does get the job
Then I will wish him the best of luck in Miami. And, that would bring a serious question as to who would take over as the special teams coach.
Jay Cutler is our QB, and I for one am proud of that

I hope he gets the job.
I would like to see the Fins finally do well. Tried to like em when I lived there but they had Wanny for the coach. Maybe they can get RG III. I think Toub will do well as a head coach.

Plenty of history
as far as special teams coaches succeeding as a head coach. It would suck to lose him on our staff but he deserves a shot. At least in the AFC if he is successful we’ll only see him once ever four years.
Jay Cutler is still my quarterback.

good to see him get the recognition he deserves
He had the best ST unit in the NFL for a while now, but if the guy can be a HC, I think he’ll do a good job.

Good for Dave...
If the Dolphins are smart they’ll hire him. He’s earned the right to be considered. Let’s hope he isn’t too good.
There's a fine line between stupid...and clever!
crap, I wanted him as our next head coach
But if he’s gonna go anywhere else I would like to see him at the Dolphins. They were my favorite team growing up back before Marino retired

I would love to see him as our HC as well..

Not the conventional route...
…from special teams to head coach. But this guy deserves a shot. The creativity he displayed with our beloved Bears demands this kind of attention. I’d hate to see him go but if it happens, I’ll be pulling for him. Just one thing, Dave. Would you see what you can do to shut up those ’72 Fins and the idiots who think they were the greatest team ever?
I can think of a certain coach that route

I think its great that hes gettin a shot , but .....
…. I think the Fins will go with a bigger name .

Fisher seems to be the hot commodity this year
Already two interviews set up with two different teams.
