Heres some info on Emery ......
Unlike a few of the other candidates, Emery is a known commodity inside the Bears organization, as the veteran collegiate talent evaluator served as an area scout for the club from 1998-2004.
After leaving Chicago, Emery became the Atlanta Falcons’ director of college scouting for five seasons (2004-08).
During Emery’s tenure running the college scouting department in Atlanta, the Falcons’ notable draft picks included quarterback Matt Ryan, guard Justin Blalock, wide receiver Roddy White and wide receiver Laurent Robinson.
In 2010, the Chiefs used the No. 5 overall selection to take safety Eric Berry, who became the first Kansas City rookie to be named to the Pro Bowl since Hall of Fame linebacker Derrick Thomas in 1989.
Two of Emery’s peers in the NFL scouting fraternity described him as a “grinder” who “refuses to be outworked.”
Emery was also the director of strength and conditioning services for the U.S. Naval Academy from 1991-98.
I kinda like seein that hes a grinder and will refuse to be outworked . Jerry seemed to be OK with gettin worked .

I agree , but Emery has been involved in drafting ....
…. not one but two franchise QB’s ( Mike Vick & Matt Ryan ) and seems to have a firm grip on how to build a team . I really like Ross & Raye , but Emery would be fine with me .

This isn't breaking news
Jensen asked 2 other GMs what they thought, and this was their opinion.
Someday I will understand the thrill for people in posting a link to someone else’s report first. It’s as though they think they have taken the role of reporter, and they are actually breaking the news. It’s not limited to here, other blogs and message boards have people acting the same way.
Also, you didn’t even link to the original report, which was a tweet from Jensen. Rotoworld is just a clearinghouse for news. So this is like a 3rd-hand report of someone else’s opinion. If that qualifies as breaking news, I don’t know what does.
Come down off your high horse there pal . I'm just gettin the info out there period .

He's sharing the info.
That’s what people do here. Not everybody has Twitter and some people stop here first. Relax.

Soooo, MWW including "Breaking News" in his title upset you to the point that you thought it necessary to write a condescending response? Makes sense.

I don’t keep track of the twitterverse and am grateful when people relay the info to me. So stop being a hater.

So
by recommending it you are saying that you think posting a third-part sports site’s blurb about a tweet saying that some NFL people think the Bears will hire Angelo is “breaking news”? Or do you think MidwayMonster is so insecure that he needs your affirmation? Or do you think seeing this recs will make me suddenly think that it IS breaking news?
Do you need to be a tool every time you encounter me?
OK enough . Your on a BLOG site ....
…. where zero of the information is first hand . All the info on these & many other sites is second and third hand info . And I got some advice for you there pal if you don’t like the post then don’t read it and post this self richeous , I’m better than all you posts . And all this is coming from someone who gives nothing back to this blog other the criticizing others for putting the infromation out ther for you to read .

You overestimate your importance to me
What you think is largely immaterial, but this time I thought your post was obnoxious, but that is nothing new from you.
Clearly I am not alone, and equally clearly the critical responses to your post have struck a nerve with you. This is a learning moment for you, seize it.

You are criticizing me
for being condescending by being condescending back. Perhaps you should take your own learning moment and seize it.
why you would want to keep this going is hard to figure

Other notable names
John Abraham, Roddy White, Justin Blalock, Matt Ryan, Tyson Claybo, Dwayne Bowe, Johnathon Baldwin, Eric Berry. Want to include Marty Booker and Olin Kreutz, but I’m unsure if he was around for those guys.

Nice
can you find other notable Bears Draft picks? im guessing he had something to do with Mike Brown also then?
I think Marty Booker was a player he had a hand with as well
Charles Tillman too. He was with the Bears until 2004 I think. Not 100% certain, though.

all in all
some VERY good players have been drafted while Emery was a part of the scouting dept.

Indeed
Matter of fact, 2 potential HOFs and 5 pro bowlers have been associated with Emery: Olin Kreutz, Brian Urlacher, Marty Booker, Lance Briggs, and Charles Tillman. Without Emery, only 2 have been drafted by the Bears in Devin Hester and Matt Forte.

Here's what Roto was quoting:
Just talked to two league sources who predict — not know — that Phil Emery is in the driver’s seat to become the next GM of the #Bears.
The lesson we learned here is that a prediction can mean breaking news for one person, and absolutely nothing for another. Also, a “league source” could mean a former 4th string punter for the Baltimore Colts who randomly gave a prediction when asked by Jensen.
I'm a ninja.
Emery? Are you kidding me?
he was a scout for Wanny and Jauron and now he’s with KC. What the hell has KC done?
He just started with KC
First draft was 2010 I believe, and that was a nice one.
KC won their division two years ago
Featured one of the top running games, O-Lines, and secondary in the NFL. He was also a part of the transformation in Atlanta, from doomed franchise to consistent playoff contender. And one of his guys happens to play for the Chicago Bears. Wanna guess who that is?
