Video: Bears Trade For Jay Cutler

Because on a day when we celebrate the arrival of a new general manager, we should look back one final time on the Bears' biggest move in the last two decades, made possible by the former, much maligned general manager.

Chicago Bears Get JAY CUTLER!!! Thanks Jerry, We Appreciate It! (via Blackson187)

Yep

I was looking at some old videos of games he played in Denver and I’m telling you, it was like looking at a totally different guy. He he fast paced, running all kind of bootlegs, and throwing the ball in tight spots. He was unbelievable. Leave it to the Bears to almost ruin this guy.

Hey Rose. I don't see the appeal!

Just have Cutler get one of his old Broncos playbooks out of the closet and copy everything from there

It can’t fail!

I will look back fondly on picks such as

I'll always remember Cutler totally owning the Bears in 2007...

…but for the Devin Hester (2 returns) and the special teams, and Rex Grossman making the very best throw of his pro career on 4th and goal with 30 seconds remaining (with perhaps the best pure catch of Bernard Berrian’s career):
