yeah i feel same way he was a great Qb but his days are over
I think at his age he would have to take a back seat to playing hes gonna be 36 i beleave.I dont think its to smart to play again he might get hurt alot worst.
If PManning has any brains, he retires rather than risk further injury
he should be thinking of his family first not his football career

Does he have a family?
I thought he was single and no kids?

He should retire
Arizona Cardinals/Chicago Bears fan
Phoenix Suns, Arizona Diamondbacks, Phoenix Coyotes, Arizona Rattlers fan
[I have always lived in Arizona, dad is from Chicago].
Leading the NFL in swagtangibles
He's got a ring, he's got multiple records, and he's got a resume that would get anybody into the HOF
Just hang up them cleats and let it go, there’s better worries at this point in life (family and kids) than football.
UMD Bulldogs: 2011 NCAA DI Men's Hockey Nat'l Champions; 2008 & 2010 NCAA DII Football Nat'l Champions
so what?
Peyton would be an even bigger fool to come back to try and compete with his little brother

I don't feel bad for him. He won a Super Bowl, is considered the Best at his position, is a Hall of Famer and will never have to do anything in Indianapolis ever again, he has it made.
So if your career just gets taken your cool with it ? Got it .

Yeah, if I was a Hall of Famer that won a Super Bowl and has hundreds of millions of dollars I wouldn't want anyone to feel sorry for me.
Especially if my career was as cushy as Manning’s was. If I had an entire city feeding out of my hand and giving me every that I would ever want, yes.
Your point? This is not a blue collar man that HAS to work to feed his family, this is a guy that has played 14 years of professional football, become a Hall of Famer and POSSIBLY retiring a very, very, very rich person.
Want to feel sorry for someone, feel sorry for Kevin Everette, Willie Gallimore, Brian Piccolo, etc. Men that have had their lives, livelihood or dream taken away before they could accomplish what they wanted or provide for their family with massive security. Or someone like Donovan McNabb, Chad Pennington or Daunte Culpepper that has been ridiculed, injured a ton and hasn’t had nearly as great a career.
He gets no sympathy on that front. I do wish this injury won’t affect his after football life though.
Yeah OK .....
….. man . Losing your livlihood is losing your livelihood period . You rationalize it any way you got to man .
