I was watching this game
just yesterday again, to feel good about the Bears and it worked. This game, the second Detroit game and the San Diego game were the highs of this season for me.

Yeah, Im excited for next year already, or at least the offseason first! Lets go get Jay some ammo
Wouldnt it be funny if we had another DE with the last name Salters!
I'm exicited too
I’m done with being mopey about this season. Just watching Forte’s and Hester’s screen plays, over and over makes me smile.

It's like
“Hey, remember when things were clicking and we weren’t being all twitchy about Caleb Hanie and Josh McCown?”

The season that could have been..
The past is now the past, time to move forward and be optimistic about the future, given the right man has taken over as OC and when this offense is balanced as well as healthy, they can play with anyone in the NFL.
Jay Cutler is our QB, and I for one am proud of that

Those were hopeful days
The defense was unreal in that game – Forte solid, Jay looking good. Feels like a decade ago
I'm not so mean. I wouldn't ever go out to hurt anybody deliberately - unless it was, you know, important, like a league game or something. - Dick Butkus
And we’ve been to the playoffs 50% of the time! “The time” being “in the past two seasons” and ignoring the previous three failures, of course.
When I assume, I'm not "making an ass out of u and me"... I'm actually putting u between me and an ass.
Sigh.
And you wonder why ’85 lives on around here?

I wish that NFL.com still had the videos like that with the radio announcers instead of their recap guys

They used to have a lot more plays in those radio call ones.
NFL.com has really skimped with the highlights lately.
"You have a young group and if they start feeling too good about themselves, that’s not a good thing. So it’s my job not to let them. So probably they will hate me. But that’s OK too. My wife hates me and she’s still married to me." - Mike Tice

At least they still show the plays on their own in the "Fantasy Highlights" area
But it isn’t the same

boy the anthem before that game
and then that game wow. it was like the bears actually wanted to play offense and defense.
Oh man...
Hard to believe that the Bears started the season like this. I almost forgot about how FREAKING AWESOME is Jay Cutler!
