NFC Wild Card Game: Detroit At New Orleans Open Thread

You put your left foot in, you put your left foot out, you put your left foot in and the Saint pushes you out...

The second game today is a rematch as well. Detroit got it handed to them 31-17 back in early December, and is looking for some revenge by knocking off a Saints team featuring Drew Brees, who put up one of the best quarterback lines in NFL history and still might not win the MVP thanks to Aaron Rodgers.

This is your open thread for this one. Pick your side (I think I know where some of you will be...) and remember to Open Thread Responsibly (TM).

No kidding....

Sounds like Jay would love to have BMarsh in Chicago…..

Wonder if he’ll ask management to inquire about a trade….

I doubt it.

But he’s definitely dropping hints. This will probably be talked about in the Chicago media, if not nationally. They love nuggets like this.

Nobody'd have as much effect as Megatron...

But, BMarsh is the type of receiver that opposing DC’s have to plan for…

although, don’t see Bears making a run at him, with all the off field issues he’s had….

Before Martz left...

I would have said Marshall would not fit into the Bears offense. Now that Tice is running the show, it’s a more appealing prospect. The issue I have with B Marshall is that he takes far too many plays off and half-asses catches a bit too often. His lack of focus and inconsistency makes him as much of a liability as and asset. That said, his inconsistency is self-made (and correctable), the rest of the Bears WR corps is purely talent driven.

There's a fine line between stupid...and clever!

gahhh

if we got Clady and Marshall…I would cry….we’d be like the Miami Heat

The Texans today have now won as many playoff games as the Lion’s have in 54 years.

Glad to see the Lions get OWNED in the second half.

Exciting game. Good outcome.

Stupid computer.....

from Aaron Berry on twitter

"Y’all can go back to being Broke & Miserable…now back to regular scheduled programming…"

Alphonso Smith

"Before you say anything crazy or ignorant please know your ‘coverages’ first just a friendly reminder!!! now fire away!!!"

And from Hitman responding to a writer who said that their D was torched….

"think of a better adjective." (Actually, it’s a verb. But we get the point.)

The first one is bad

The other two aren’t so bad, and I can’t hate on Hitman
