After leaving yesterday's victory, Lance Louis lands on injured reserve with a knee injury.
So maybe now Jared Allen gets something a little more harsh from the hit that removed Lance Louis from yesterday's win against the Vikings. Louis has been placed on injured reserve with a knee injury suffered on a blindside hit by Allen.
This leaves the guard/offensive line situation oddly unsettled, following Chris Spencer's removal from the game as well - the right side introduced a new starting right tackle in Jonathan Scott and inserted Gabe Carimi when Louis left. So what will the right side of the line look like - will James Brown move into the right tackle spot, will he flip to the guard, or will he be the backup with Carimi moved to the interior? Or will Jonathan Scott slide inside? It's an interesting little puzzle, particularly if Edwin Williams needs to stay on the left side for Spencer.
But Louis' loss comes at a rough time, with another matchup lined up against each of the NFC North teams. Stay tuned for any further developments...
