Devin Hester has officially been ruled out versus Seahawks.
After suffering a concussion in the first half of last week's game versus the Minnesota Vikings, Devin Hester has officially been ruled out for this weekend's contest versus the Seahawks, according to Vaughn McClure.
Hester was one of five Chicago players knocked out last week, with Lance Louis (knee- IR), Chris Spencer (knee), Charles Tillman (ankle), Lance Briggs (ankle) being the others.
Louis is out for the season, Hester is out for this week, and the other three have yet to be cleared to play.
UPDATE: Chris Spencer is also OUT. Look for more Gabe Carimi at Guard.
On the season, Hester is third on the team in receiving, but his stats have been less than impressive: 18 receptions, 203 yards, and 1 TD.
Brandon Marshall has 81 receptions for 1,017 yards and 8 TDs, and Earl Bennett has 22 receptions for 238 yards and 0 TDs.
Hester's one receiving TD on the year is his only score,being kept out of the end zone on punt and kick returns as well.
