Tina, you fat lard, come get some dinner! - Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports
While the Cincinnati Bengals take on the Philadelphia Eagles enjoy our Thursday Night Football Open Thread. Feel free to talk about the game, the Bears, the quarterback question of the week, or what ever else floats your boat. There's no debate, Windy City Gridiron is the place to be.
The Philadelphia Eagles will try to play spoiler tonight to the playoff hopeful Cincinnati Bengals. The 7-6 Bengals are coming off a narrow loss to the Cowboys, and the 4-9 Eagles are fresh off a win against the Bucs. On paper the game seems to be one the Bengals should win, but Philly will not go down without a fight.
Only 3 of our 12 WCG NFL prognosticators picked the Eagles this week, but I could see the game going either way. Cincy had the more talented team, but the Eagles have some young players looking to make a name for themselves.
There is one more thing that you simply can not debate. The NFL.com game preview Facebook feed is full of some outstanding and intelligent football fans. I'll highlight a few of the brilliant comments;
BENGALS WILL BEAT THE EAGLES so yeah that's how its going down GO BENGALS.
So yeah... 'nuff said I guess. But a few more...
LOL HOW DO EAGLES FANS SAY BENGALS SUCK. LOL CHECK THE RECORDS LMAO AT YOU LAMES.
YOU LAMES! This next one is from a Chargers fan.
Bungies not gud at footbals. Nobody gud wood ware orangy unforms. Wood wear yellow or maybe pink. Green also okay, like AJ Green of Browns. Bungies shud ware Brown, then maybe they be win game too.
Stay classy San Diego...
And for the record, that last blockquote broke my spellchecker.
But moving onto the Question Of The Week...
Our friends over at Gillette, has posed the question; WHICH QUARTERBACK IS LEADING THE PACK THIS SEASON, AND WHY?
In my opinion the best QB this year has been Tom Brady. But a strong argument could be made for a handful of others. If the TNF game just isn't doing it for you, let us know who your top QB has been this year.
