Kendall Wright would be a great choice for us
It will be interesting to see if he actually last that long.

I sure hope so
People are down on him because of his size, but he plays strong and runs great routes across the middle
he really reminds me of Steve Smith for the Panthers

I dont think
Richardson or Jenkins are gonna last that long in the draft. But if they do I’d like to maybe see us grab Jenkins to play opposite of Peanut. Assuming we address a number 1 receiver in FA. We can get a quality WR in the second.

I think Richardson is over-hyped
RBs just don’t get drafted high. People were tlaking last year that ingram oculd go in the top 10 and he dropped to the bottom of the 1st

Trent is better than Ingram
In every facet of the game. Built bigger, stronger, faster and he’s a better blocker. The hype is warranted. Barring injury he’ll be a top 5 back in three years.

Doesn't matter
going 16th to the Jets is very high for a RB these days
He’s not the caliber of prospect AP was coming out
He’s somewhere between AP and Ingram, therefor he’ll go somewhere around 8-17

Don't disagree.
He’s closer to being an AP type than he is to Ingram. He’s the best RB prospect since AP. The fact you can actually leave him in on third down(unlike Peterson) gives him tremendous value. I don’t see him lasting until 16. We shall see though. Nice mock btw.

True
I mean I’m not disagreeing with you, I just don’t see too many teams before the Jets that need a RB more than what i have them picking
Thanks though man
I’ve got round two under the works right now

and Jenkins drops because of character issues
And you’d take Jenkins over Kendall Wright? I’m glad you’re not in charge of the draft room

I said I would
depending on if we got the WR position taken care of in FA. It will go both ways, if we get a big name WR in FA then get a CB in draft first, If we get one of the big name CBs in FA then grab the WR in the draft. It all depends on FA to me.

Kendall Wright is a better prospect than Jenkins
I think you have to take Wright

You must be thinking
Malcolm Floyd is going to give one hell of an impression at the Combine to go as early as #6.

He's the #2 WR on my draft board
and he’s a physical freak.
I didn’t do trades, but I fully expect the Rams to trade with the Redskins and the Redskins get RG3

I'm curious why you have
Trumaine Johnson going in the 1st. I’ve followed this guy a bit and I’m pretty high on him, but, I don’t see him go this early.

Because I see him as having a very good combine
and the Steelers are very weak at Corner

Chase Minnifield seems like a Pit CB to me.
Frank Minnifield’s son an AFC North connection there. Although bigger than his old man, still needs to bulk up. But he looks like he enjoys tackling.

Please don't let Ingram go to Buffalo
Or Green Bay for that matter.

My favorite pick in this whole mock is the Lamar Miller to the Packers pick
omg that would like put that offense just ridiculously over the top

Mark Barron
I’m always looking at Defensive players that could be potential 1st round picks. And at first Mark Barron was not on my list. Just not enough range to play safety in Lovie’s D.
Until I started making a list of defensive players that I do not want to see the Lions or Packers draft. No matter what the criteria, this guy was always near the top of my list.
Then I started thinking about Steltz. Not the greatest range ever. But when he got a chance to play he did alright. Not the best competition that we faced this year, but when he got a chance, he just made plays.
Now I think Barron would be able to do everything Steltz could do. Equally effective if not better than Steltz from the first day of training camp. With nothing but upside with his game-changing, play-making abilities. Bob Sanders in his prime was something special. I don’t know if that’s a fair comparison to either player. But it’d be pretty awesome to not even have to worry about the Safety position for the next half decade. Unless you worry over Pro Bowl voting.
Kendall Wright would be a great pick. But I’m still hoping the WR position is thoroughly addressed in FA.
Bearsh!tt!n It ain't obscene- I'm a Bears fan that likes hittin and exclamation points.
i thought the same thing at first
then i saw the championship game and saw some highlights. he could be very good at ss
He does have great insticts
My issue with him is that he doesn’t wrap tackle when he should. He’s a bit of a showboat (for a safety) and goes for theatrical knockdowns. Too often he drops his shoulder and tries to knock WRs down, which won’t be nearly as affective against bigger NFL receivers. Good run support though. Lot of upside.

this is true and if he did he could even more effective.
he seems to have a bit of a knack for the ball not a big one but he has had a few pass break ups
Your issues with his wrap tackling?
Have you read this or have you seen this? From what I’ve read and especially from what I’ve seen, tackling of any kind has not been an issue for him.
If you have links to reading something or youtube I would check it out.
My issues with him (which are rapidly disappearing, especially when noticing the improvements in his coverage from 2010 to 2011) have solely been issues with his coverage.
His tackling seems fine to me, and I take tackling seriously.

I see Barron as being a Roman Harper type of player.
Not in his skills, really, but the kind of role he’ll play for his team. I think he’ll be a good solid player for the same team for 8,9,10 years. Don’t see him being a superstar, but it’s possible.

That's not an accurate comparison.
Roman Harper was an efficient and productive Safety also for Alabama, but had nowhere near the game-changing abilities or potential that Barron has. I’d compare Harper more to Barron’s teammate Robert Lester who’ll be back at Alabama next year.
That said, Harper has been to couple Pro Bowls…

Like I said...
I’m not comparing their skillsets, Barron is bigger and stronger than Harper. I just don’t think his “game-changing” ability is what everybody thinks it’s all cracked up to be. I think he can make a couple of pro bowls like Harper, but nothing more. He’s wildly inconsistent in his reads and decision making. Just my opinion.

His reads and decision making
were actually things I that particularly liked from Barron. But that is just my opinion. Watching plays develop, he often seems to know what the Offense is doing better than the Offensive players.

Agree to disagree my man.
I don’t think he’ll be horrible by any means, but like Kirkpatrick I think he’s a little overrated.

I'll agree with that.
The agreeing to disagree part. I don’t know, maybe they are a little overrated. But that Alabama defense was something special, but who knows…
The thing that I think I’m most sure of, is that I don’t want want to see either Kirkpatrick or Barron go to Det or GB.

This would be the second year in a row
that Baylor has two 1st round draft picks. Before 2011, it had been something like 50 years since they had two 1sts.
I'm a ninja.
I think it's ALMOST a guarantee that they have 2 first round picks
baring a horrible performance by Wright at the combine
(i think it’s pretty much a given RG3 goes somewhere in the 1st)
