Windy City Gridiron Picks the Super Bowl
We know for sure that either the Den-meister or the Photo Shop Guru will take the NFL playoff pick em crown at WCG for the 2011 season. Both sit at 7-3 and they picked opposite of each other for the Super Bowl. At the other end of the spectrum, our resident Bears historian, who picked based off color scheme and mascot cuteness is tied with our Hammer wielding Ben Affleck ringer. Both are riding low with a 3-7 record, and with them picking opposite each other we will have a clear cut loser. After the jump take a look at all our picks.
New York Giants (12-7) vs. New England Patriots (15-3) Sunday 5:30 Central
I'm expecting a very good game on Sunday. The Giants got hot at the right time and the Pats are the Pats. I'll be rooting for the Pats come game time, but my brain tells me the Giants will win the game. I think both offenses will be able to move the ball, but the Giants pass rush will harass Tom Brady just enough to thwart a few drives. Rob Gronkowski is such a big part of the N.E. offense and if he's hobbled at all it'll be a big blow to their offense. Eli Manning is becoming a big game player and I think he'll get it done at the end. My call; N.Y. 27 N.E. 24.
Kev's Note: I decided that this week, we would go with handsome pictures of the starting quarterbacks.

How'd Ashley decide the pick this week?
She’s gone team colors and mascots thus far. I don’t remember what the Finals were.
she used her football IQ this time...

I was going to go by cutest quarterback,
but then decided I didn’t know which was cuter. Hahaha. So I just picked who I thought would win… although I’m cheering for the Giants…
Now I’m scared I’ll be the worst loser. Maybe next year my goofy ways of picking will pan out! :P
