Frankly, as a White Sox fan, I was considering giving the Cubs a higher seed and pairing them with a popular opponent just to watch them fail (as usual) but decided they'd falter eventually on their own. Regardless, the #3 Chicago Cubs - those lovable losers from the Northside - square off against #6 Blades, the mascot of the Boston Bruins. I don't think the Cubs need any introduction, but here's Blade's origin story if you're into that sort of thing (props to the Bruins for really investing some creative thought into their mascot). And, if you are wondering about a Cubs' mascot, this thing was it the last time they won the World Series (the players all look real happy to have him around).
