Thanks NFL.com. We will enjoy your culmination of a season with a football game with two teams nobody likes, featuring a mid-time break with a performance by someone who looks like a mixture of Skeletor and Gollum.

The next meaningful snaps are in September!

Got my Sweetness jersey on

just because.

And I despise both these teams but what the hell it’s the Super Bowl. Plus maybe some crazy poster will show up here and troll out and I can watch Kev get out the BANHAMMER!!!! And if that’s a crazy Lions fan troll, even better!

I’m rooting for the team that actually believes in running and defense.

Yeah but they at least try

The Pats are the last of the “screw it we’ll just throw it 60 times” teams and I hope they lose because of it

Hey Rose. I don't see the appeal!

by Dils on Feb 5, 2012 5:53 PM CST up reply actions

You know what I mean

The Pats don’t care about defense or running the ball effectively. They’re just like the Saints, Lions, and Pack who thought they could XBOX their way to a ring with no disregard for the rest of the game. I like well rounded teams.

Hey Rose. I don't see the appeal!

Yeah and the Saints and Packers depended on

defense and the run to get to the Superbowl those years. They didn’t get there flinging the ball around like they did in the regular season this year. This year those teams had NO regard for the other side of the ball

Everyone talks about the changing NFL, people like Aikman and Bradshaw that played in today's NFL don't get in.

Manning would need stats on par with Montana to have a chance now. 300 TDs and three Super Bowls.

McNabb isn’t getting in, neither is Randall Cunningham, Bledsoe nor Testaverde, Phil Simms, Esiason, Kreig, Collins, Air McNair. Either he won’t get in or it will take him years.

Look at players like Dent and some of the guys that are still out as well.

Isn't Dent in the HOF?

Plus Eli’s relatively young. Give him 5-6 more years with his current production and he’s probably in. Add one more Super Bowl…?

Above all; keep 'em guessing, never let them lose their sense of confusion.

On espn

they said Eli is on pace with his brother as far as stats go. Now he’s one up on him in titles. He’s definitely on his way…
