Brian Urlacher and Lance Briggs have held down two of the spots for ten years, but behind them is a looming question mark. Nick Roach was serviceable last season at the strong side, but the rest of the position included one player redshirted (JT Thomas), one player claimed midseason (Jabara Williams), a player promoted from the practice squad (Patrick Trahan), and two generally limited to special teams (Dom DiCicco, Brian Iwuh).
