Famous last words, to be sure. But according to ESPN's Rachel Nichols, Lovie has spoken to Matt Forte since the Bears signed Michael Bush.
He said "We love him, he's going to rush for a lot of yards for us. It's going to work out fine."
So what does this mean? Probably a whole lot of nothing. Lovie's not going to throw a player under the bus in the media, especially one as key to the team has Forte's been over the last four years. But if there's another head coach in the league as good at intra-locker-room player relations as Lovie is, I'd like to be informed of his existence.
