Calvin Johnson apperently won the 2013 Madden cover over Cam Newton.
Via ESPN. Here's hoping the curse strikes in the preseason. Personally, I hope he only has a horrible season rather than an injury. A horrible horrible horrible season.

Calvin Johnson narrowly edged Cam Newton in the "Madden NFL 13" cover vote.
64 players, 20 million votes, 1 Megatron.
That’s right, in a vote that was too close to call before SportsNation aired live from Times Square, Calvin Johnson defeated Cam Newton and will appear on the cover of “Madden NFL 13.”
“I’m shocked,” Johnson said when the cover was revealed.
“I thought you guys loved me,” Newton pleaded to the crowd in response before giving props to Megatron for the victory.
But in victory, will Johnson be the next victim to the infamous “Madden” cover curse, a curse that has taken down everyone from Troy Polamalu to Michael Vick?
