The Bears have signed the rotational Defensive Tackle they were looking for.
No its not John McCargo or Demario Pressley, its Nate Collins.
I actually posted a little over a month ago i thought this may be a possibility.
Then the Tommie Harris speculation came about across the media front.
The reason i made this speculation is because the Bears brought Nate Collins in for a pre-draft visit in 2010. When i saw he hit the market this year i thought if they truely had interest they might get the player they targeted a couple years ago. I think you can call it a late Xmas present.
The one negative that pops up is a marijuana problem. But i guess we will see how that pans out.
Nate Collins is an ex-jaguar. We signed him to a one year contract. He attended Virginia University. But more importantly he is now a Chicago Bear. I hope he turns out to be a good Christmas gift.
