Man, the Lions sure have had a busy offseason - just not in the way Lions fans were hoping for.
Defensive tackle Nick Fairley can be added to the list for a second time now, as he was arrested this morning and charged with driving under the influence and attempting to elude police, along with tickets being issued for reckless driving (he was clocked at over 100 mph), no proof of insurance and violating an open container law. This is all in addition to his arrest on April 3 for second degree marijuana possession.
This is just icing on the cake (the saying; I don't take pleasure in seeing a division rival deal with populating an entire police blotter by themselves) after the other charges the Lions have been dealing with this offseason. Is Roger Goodell warranted to fine and/or suspend Fairley for being arrested and charged twice in two months?
