Stealing From The Enemy: Detroit Lions

Stay connected for news and updates

DETROIT - AUGUST 28: Ndamukong Suh #90 of the Detroit Lions tackles Jake Delhomme #17 of the Cleveland Browns during a preseason game on August 28 2010 at Ford Field in Detroit Michigan. The premise of this little exercise will be simple. We'll look at the three other rosters in the NFC North, Chicago's enemies, and try and decide who would fit in on the current Chicago Bears team. We already scoped out the rosters of the Green Bay Packers and the Minnesota Vikings earlier this week (click this link and that link to see how that went), and next up to bring the series home we'll look at the Motor City.

If you can steal one player from the Detroit Lions and put him on the Chicago Bears, who would it be? Here's the Lions roster if you need a reminder who they have, and please play along, even if the thought of one of those dirty, nasty Lions on the Bears would make you cringe. My pick Ndamukong Suh, and my reason why can be found after the jump.

I really don't care if Suh has a reputation for being a dirty player. He's a lineman, I want my linemen playing on the edge. If he crosses the line every once in a while, I'm OK with it, especially if he's on my team. Suh is a disruptive force that could play either defensive tackle spot for the Bears, although his quickness would be ideally suited for the 3 Technique DT. Suh had a steady diet of double and triple teams last year that hurt his numbers, but in his case the numbers are only part of the story.

Who's your pick? Tell us what Lion you'd bring to the Bears and why.
