Jay Cutler "Sings" the Seventh Inning Stretch

Stay connected for news and updates

"We're not going to be country music stars, are we Greg?"

So we all know Jay Cutler has a bad reputation from the national media and others about his "aloofness," his disinterest, his body language and pretty much having the personality of a cactus, however, he's made consderable progress in this regard and Bears fans have always held that he got a bad rap and was a good guy all around. Well, on Saturday the Bears QB threw out the first pitch and sang the "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" during the 7th inning stretch of the Cubs-Diamondbacks game. Let's just say Cutty doesn't do the whole "singing" thing real well...

If you click this link you can see the video (Video doesn't embed) of him doing it for yourself. Not too good, is it? Yikes, it's been a while since I remember one that bad, but luckily I think it's better than Tony Romo or Jeff Gordon, but not by much....I think you can understand why I put quotes in the title, because that is a loose definition of "sing."

That Romo/Gordon link didn't like Devin Hester's rendition or The Coach's but I would never tell Mr. Ditka he didn't sing well.

Anyway, I wanted to share that video on here, as we all continue to wait for good news regarding Matt Forte. Maybe it will help you get through your case of the Mondays a little bit.
