Per the Sun-Times' Sean Jensen, the Chicago Bears and RB Matt Forte have agreed to a four-year contract, ending months of negotiating between the two sides.

Adam Schefter says that the deal is to garner Forte about $8 million per year.

* Sean Jensen Tweets the deal will be include over 18 Million guaranteed.

* The Tribune reports it's a 4 year $32 mil deal.

Forte had been vocally unhappy with his contract situation in Chicago, and the negotiating came down to the wire. New Bears GM Phil Emery didn't seem like the type to play hardball with one of his key players, so if the team and Forte were as close as has been reported the last couple days, it's no surprise to see the agreement come to fruition.
