Shawne Merriman released by the Bills today. Any chance he goes "Lights Out" for the Bears this season? Tell me your thoughts, since we know this Urlacher injury is worse than they're telling us.

Was I the only one who noticed all of the missed tackles against the 'Skins? Granted their running backs are all Brandon Jacobs-esque, but I feel that Merriman, even after the achilles and knee injury, would be a significant upgrade on the outside opposite Briggs and at the very least a great pick-up for depth. Seems like LB is a position of need right now. What do you think?
