Yeah, that wasn't really the most stellar of preseason openings, but at least it's only preseason.
For all the talk of the Bears' high-powered offense, they elected to, and did, not show very much of their offensive cards, as Jay Cutler and Matt Forte both sat this one out. And neither Jason Campbell nor Josh McCown really took many risks down the field. After Matt Prater started the scoring with a field goal, Lance Ball added a rushing touchdown and the Broncos were off and running. Literally.
