As the headline implies, I was just wondering about how our offense and defense will look on the presumably faster Dallas turf. Last time Jay Cutler and Co, led by The Mad One, put up a pretty solid game in Big D. Cutler went 21/29 for 277 yards, 3 touchdowns, 0 INT's and a passer rating of 136.7. I think it will be interesting to see how the Bears offense will perform in a controlled environment after two subpar showings.
Two more things I want to look for is a Hester return and how fast our D-Line can get up field. Out of all of Devin Hester's returns, 8 have come on the road. Out of those 8, five have been in domed stadiums, including the Super Bowl. Those 5 include Arizona, St. Louis twice, New Orleans, and Detroit. Oddly enough he has the most returns against Minnesota, with all of them coming at Soldier Field except for one. That one came at the University of Minnesota and was played outside after the roof collapse incident. He has been close a few times already this year, is this the game he gets back in the endzone?
Last time we went to Dallas, Romo didn't have the best day, but he didn't have the worst either. He threw for 374 yards, 1TD, and 2 INT's on 51 attempts. A big stat here was the Bears failed to record a sack. That can not happen in this game if we expect to win. I want to see how fast the D-Line can get to quarterback on turf considering we play the remaining two division road games on turf. I don't think Dallas is a superior team, but I think next to the Packers they are the best team we will have faced so far. It will be a good test to see where we are offensively and defensively.
One more quick thing to watch, the battle to see who is the tougher marcus, Juh or Duh. That could get ugly. Let me know what you guys think!
