Alright, so I tried doing this last year, but kinda faded early...Let's see how I do this year.

Colts @ Bears
I'll start off with the game I think all of us are looking forward to, as it signals the start of Bears football. Many, including myself, were including this in the "easy wins" category, but after showing some promise in the preseason, the Colts seem a bit more dangerous than their name suggests. Nevertheless, I expect the Bears to win this one, riding a virtuoso performance from Jay Cutler.
Predictions: Luck goes 19/28 for 236 yards, 2 TD's, 2 INT's. Shea McClellin notches the Bears 1st sack of 2012 by chasing down a scrambling No. 12. Alshon Jeffery catches 1 of Cutler's 3 TD passes on a jump ball in the end zone.
49ers @ Packers
I'm not just picking the Niners 'cause I'm a Bears fan...though it does affect the pick here somewhat. I just believe that the 49ers defense can win the matchup against the Packers' potent offense; ie San Fran can bring some major pressure on Aaron Rodgers. And don't expect the Packers to total over 50 yards rushing, what with that O-line and the Willis-Bowman duo manning the middle of the 'Frisco defense.
Predictions: Moss Mosses Tramon Williams for the 49ers 2nd TD of the season. Their first being created by Alson Smith on a sack-strip of Rodgers, completed by Bowman picking it up and waltzing in for the TD. The Packers storm back, but ultimately lose by a score of 23-17.
Steelers @ Broncos
Maybe the Steelers have a worse offensive line than the Bears. They also happen to have Big Ben playing QB, which means that any defenders that do get to him will have to work for the sack. Manning is Manning, but I'm thinking he'll need a couple of weeks to really gel with his receivers. Denver's D keeps them in this one, but the offense can't carry it's weight...yet.
Predictions: Wallace and Brown each notch a 30+ -yd TD reception. Big Ben gets sacked 5 times, twice by Von Miller. Manning throws 2 picks, neither of which is really his fault.
And there we are. I'll try to follow this general blueprint throughout the season. We'll see how this goes...
