Bears offseason O-Line fixes

SIgn Jake Long or Branden Albert depending on what scheme is adapted by the new HC/OC.I Think Albert in a zone scheme and Long in a spread system. I personally prefer Long because he brings a nastiness to the game that the bears had in Chilo Rachel, but clearly that didn't end to well. Bring in Andy Levitre. Stick with Garza for one more season unless Barrett Jones falls in the second round, But i doubt that is going to happen. Lance Louis is a decent Guard but, if we go to a spread i don't think he's athletic enough to start. However, if we go to a zone scheme i think he is a good fit. Since the consensus is that the first round pick will be Eifert out of Notre Dame. Most of the Mocks have DJ Fluker available in the second round. Fluker is a polished RT that would hopefully emerge as a solid RT for the next decade. Similarly Scott was a pleasant surprise at RT for the last couple of games. Finally spend a late draft pick of a G/C to fill the void early in the season.

While Graza isn't a great center he is experienced and with Levitre next to him, he should be able to mask his deficients. I like Louis but he was grandfathered in by Lovie and Tice. I don't see him coming back unless he has a pro bowl season next year. while Carimi has been a horrific right tackle i see a lot of positive to him playing Guard. He is extremely athletic and much nastier than louis and add in the fact that he will have an entire offseason at full health to make himself better plus the upside of being an first round draft pick. This could make are offensive line one of the most improved offensive lines of 2012, while also being one of the most experienced. The only other fixes that would have to be made are the center position, and like i said before i don't see that happening this offseason unless B.Jones falls in the second.

Long, Webb

Levitre, Brown

Garza, Williams

Louis/Carimi, Late Draft Pick

D.J. Fluker, Scott
