Am i the only one who think that there had to be a much better candidate for this job. Mel Tucker's Credentials dont exactly pop of the page:
- Jaguars D-Coordiator/4th worst defense in the league
- Browns D-Coordiator/ Browns finish 4-12 with a similarly poor defense
- Experience with 4-3, 3-4. Are we going to a hybrid, similar to colts?
- College experience under nick saben at LSU and time at Michigan St.
I like the idea of going to a hybrid defense but i don't think we have the personnel for it. Also, while i'm trying to give the benefit of the doubt to the new coach i just feel like there were far more talented candidates that could have fill this position. Maybe i'm looking at this wrong.
