Colin Kaepernick's been a welcome surprise for the Niners since his insertion into the starting lineup, and last week against the Packers was hardly stoppable, as the Niners ran for 323 yards on the Packers en route to pulling away in the fourth quarter to win 45-31. Kaepernick himself nearly ran for 200 yards. The bonus? He can actually complete a pass (Tim Tebow, take note). Michael Crabtree's come through pretty big for the Niners in this time too, as he caught nine balls for 119 yards and two more touchdowns.
The Falcons are trying to make it into their first Super Bowl since 1998, and last week, went ahead by 20 before halftime only to watch Russell Wilson and the Seahawks storm back to take the lead with 31 seconds left - the Falcons were able to come back and kick a field goal, then hold off a Hail Mary attempt with a Julio Jones interception (!) to stay on top, 30-28. Tony Gonzalez has never been to a Super Bowl and may be retiring after this year - can the Falcons get him to New Orleans?
