So these are players that will definitely be on my radar. Consider me an idiot on some, but the draft is about getting talent in the first three rounds and either find depth and/or project players in later rounds.
That said feel free to give me some feedback.
Obvious players:
Interior: Warmack, Warford, Cooper, Barrett Jones
I think if you've read more than one Mock draft, you've seen these players appear on our radar.
OTs: Fisher (if only to think what if), Johnson, Fluker, Manelik Watson, Kyle Long
Another Obvious. Kyle Long in the second isn't much of a sleeper pick. He's on everyone's radar in the second.
ILBs: Te'o, Minter, Ogletree
No shocks here
TEs: Eifert, Ertz, Kelce, Reed
Bear with me.
Cincinnati Pro-Day: Sean Hooey LT
The kid is big, but was not invited to the combine. Could give some good value in later rounds due to anonymity. 6'8" with big arms and, from what I've read, will show some freakish athletic ability come March 13th. Or not. Still worth looking at.
Keith Pough: Combine ILB Howard
This was brought onto my radar by an SBNation post today, but looking at his youtube videos, he seemingly dominated at the d1AA level. It'll be interesting to see how he does on the drills.
Earl Watford: Combine G James Madison University
Warmack, Warford, and... Watford? Seems this kid was a baller at the small school level. He was a team captain and could very well deliver value in later rounds.
Ace Sanders: Combine WR Gamecocks
Anyone on here not interested in seeing how he performs?
Lauren Silberman: Regional Combine K/P UW Club Soccer
Yup, women in football. Imagine the puns, "ground and pound", "Taking it over the middle", "make me a sammich"
Tavon Austin WR
This should be with the obvious candidates
...and Stoneburner now that SMD brought him up
Any other possible ringers that you're looking out for?
