opinions on strategy

This being maybe my second attempt at posting a fanshot, I hope you forgive my lack of journalistic skill and consider for a moment this idea...

what if... we were to stick with Gabe and Webb, whose run blocking is pretty darn good...

draft or sign some more run blocking specialists for the interior and really surprise some people by actually doing what (I at least) thought Mike Tice was gonna do! smash mouth that rock and throw quick passes! Wouldn't this work pretty darn well considering the aging personell we have on defense and the clever, quick passing game I have come to expect from Trestman?

I, for one, am still a fan of Defense and running the ball and playing great special teams. I see no reason why we cannot simply add quality to our passing game without sacrificing the formula that was also working for so long here in Chicago. Lovie and his guys sure didn't have whatever it takes for successful offense. I really think the solution could be found in paying the defense to stay together. whilst leaning on strong a strong run game with quick passes. unless running the ball is somehow more difficult to execute than I think it is.

does anyone dissagree? would it be more efficient and intelligent to focus and draft o linemen with pass blocking specialties?
