Could the Chicago Bears be looking to add a veteran safety to the mix? Former Golden Domer Tom Zbikowski would provide depth for the Bears if he were added to the mix.
As reported by Sean Jensen of the Chicago Sun Times, the Chicago Bears may be interested in former Indianapolis Colts strong safety Tom Zbikowski.

Zbikowski, who played his college ball at Notre Dame, and attended Buffalo Grove High School, was an original draft pick of the Baltimore Ravens. In Baltimore he had 14 starts in four years spent mostly as a special teamer, however he started all 11 games he appeared in last year for the Colts. Indy cut Zbikowski loose in a cost cutting move when they decided to sign Pro Bowl safety LaRon Landry.
The Bears are only losing one safety off the depth chart, Troy Nolan, but adding a veteran at the right price would bolster the talent.

Zbikowski holds a 4-0 record as a professional boxer, and as a local following from his college and high school days. He also has numerous appearances on Chicago Sports Radio WSCR.
A quick Twitter search to find more substantial Zbikowski to Chicago news led me to this nugget.
Da #Bears need to sign Tom Zbikowski, he's a local kid, a tough as nails player, a boxer, and did I mention he's a local kid.

So what do you think Bears fans, would it be a good move to add some local flavor to the Bears?
