Some bad news this morning for Chicago Bears defensive end Turk McBride. He figured to have an uphill climb to a secured roster spot, but with him rupturing his Achilles tendon, his season is now over.
In other injury news, starting left tackle Jermon Bushrod has a strained calf, defensive end Cheta Ozougwu sat out with a hamstring injury, and wide out Brandon Marshall was held out as precautionary measure after hip surgury during the off season. Marshall's time off was scheduled, so there was no setback to concern yourself with.
Now on to some tweets...
Cornelius Washington is still listed at OLB on the Bears website, but it looks like he's playing DE at Training Camp.
It's pass break-up day at Bears camp, led by Charles Tillman (surprise surprise) who has 3.

And an obligatory Martellus Bennett nugget...
From my chat w/ Bears TE Martellus Bennett: "We need more mythical creatures as NFL mascots: Griffins, Loch Ness Monsters, Black Unicorns.."
