[Video] NFL Network - Herm Edwards and Merril Hoge break down the NFC North, and make their predictions for the 2013 season; The Beloved get some love.

Depth already being tested on O-line - Adam Hoge: The fact that the coaching staff went to Eben Britton — and even Cory Brandon for a little while — to fill in at LT means that unless disaster strikes, Webb’s days as the Bears’ LT are likely over.

Cutler

Bears pleased with how Cutler's digesting new offense - Larry Mayer: The way he performed in Wednesday's training camp practice, Jay Cutler didn't look like a QB who's learning another new offense.

Cutler still learning new scheme - Michael C. Wright: The offense improves gradually in operating efficiently under duress daily, which is likely why Cutler believes it's perfectly reasonable to have high expectations for the group this season.

Lester A. Wiltfong Jr.: How has Cutler fared in the West Coast Offense?

Stakes high for Cutler this season - Melissa Isaacson: Cutler's long-term career health hangs in the balance, whether he wants to go there right now or not, as he plays for control over his career.

Could Trestman be the key to unlocking Cutler’s full potential? - Mark Potash: Cutler is on his fifth OC in six seasons, but this transition might end up being the best. He’s growing up, but it’s his relationship with his coaches that could make the biggest difference.

Adam Hoge: Exposing Cutler in read-option seems unlikely. Moon Mullin: Not used since Vanderbilt days, would place QB at risk. Kevin Seifert: Cutler suprisingly productive as a runner.

Cutler Watch - Mark Potash: QB was sharp through most of his 11-on-11 and 7-on-7 drills on Wednesday, throwing four impressive TD passes.

Bearsss Training camp (Open thread at 9am)

Big day for Bears' red zone offense - Bob LeGere: Although the offense are in the early stages of learning a new scheme, they have shown the potential to create major mismatches for opponents with a big receiving crew that resembles a basketball front line.

Believing in Jeffery no longer takes a leap of faith - Dan Pompei: Taken under Brandon Marshall's wing, second-year WR has made big jumps in his overall skill level, literally and figuratively.

Steven Schweickert: Picks to improve: Alshon Jeffery

Injury news - Michael C. Wright: Starting MLB D.J. Williams suffered a right calf strain that is expected to sideline him for at least one week. Moon Mullin: Could have rookie starting at MLB in preseason opener.

Notes from camp - Bob LeGere: With the calf injury to D.J. Williams, Bostic will see plenty of action; Kromer using current OL situation to evaluate more players; more from camp.

Player profile - Jake Flannigan: There are no guarantees that Joe Anderson will be more of a contributor after not recording a single catch in 2012, but his confidence in himself and the team’s new vision does not waver one bit.

Player profile - Dan Durkin takes a look at DE Cornelius Washington: In a passing league, a defense can never have too many pass rushers, but is he more of an athlete than a football player?
