The Chicago Bears 1st Official Depth Chart for 2013

Jonathan Daniel

The Chicago Bears play for real this Sunday, and today they revealed their first official* depth chart for the 2013 season.

The Chicago Bears have an official depth chart in place in advance of the first game of the season, and there aren't many surprises. As expected the right side of the offensive line will be manned by the two rookies. First rounder Kyle Long will man the right guard position, and fifth round draft pick will Jordan Mills remains at right tackle.

Earl Bennett, who the Bears denied they were shopping, is listed as the #2 wide out behind Brandon Marshall, and Joe Anderson is listed #2 behind Alshon Jeffery.

The Bears don't list a #2 fullback behind Tony Fiammetta, so if he were to go down for any length of time, we could be looking at a promotion for Harvey Unga.

On the defensive side of the ball, the only real surprise is in the middle, where rookie Jon Bostic is listed as the #2 behind D.J. Williams. Williams, who missed most of training camp, was back at practice yesterday.

Corey Wootton will get the nod over Shea McClellin at the left defensive end, but expect Shea to receive plenty of playing time.

On the special teams, rookie running back Michael Ford is listed as the #2 kick returner behind Devin Hester.

* While this is the actual depth chart listed on the Bears website, head coach Marc Trestman hasn't officially named his starting lineups.
