PFF listed RT Jordan Mills a poor starter for this last year with an upside of being below average next year. This comes from their scoring of hurries/hits/etc. I have a few objections on their scoring, but I still see his year last year as below average for league standards. I have him listed as having average potential next year.
The MLB, DJ Williams, is played average in short action last year. I think he has the opportunity to become a valuable role player in 2014.
Jon Bostic was a gamble/poor starter last year at MLB. I believe he'll be average next year in a reduced role at SLB.
I think Ryan Mundy played admirably last season, but saw limited action. I think he can develop into a valuable role player or at least a solid starter.
Jared Allen suffered a bit last year in PFF's rankings. I think he will be a solid starter with a good shot at becoming a High Quality starter with the Bears in 2014.
Tim Jennings was listed as a solid starter/valuable role player, but after two consecutive pro-bowls and having the only promising defensive year in 2013, I think he's a high quality starter for our team.
This offseason has brought in quite a few extra pieces to shore up a horrible defense. Heres how PFF had the lineup before the outset of Free Agency:
After this offseason, I still see our needs going into the Draft remaining relatively unchanged.
