Chicago Bears Mini Camp Day 2 recap: Trestman and Tucker want Bears to get tougher

David Banks-USA TODAY Sports

The Chicago Bears were once again forced inside to the Walter Payton Center for day 2 of their mandatory mini camp. Here are a few tidbits from today's practice...

Thanks to the wonderful world of Twitter we have up to the minute news on all our favorite sports teams these days. The Chicago Bears finish up day two of their mini camp, and the tweets are flowing. We've collected some of the interesting Bears nuggets from today and we do hope you enjoy.

The Bears coaches were talking about getting tougher as a team today, and what better way to hype it up than like this.

And if you are unaware of that particular song, here's the video.

But back to the toughness theme...

I know, I know...

I know what many of you are thinking. You're either really excited that the Bears are talking tough and looking to the past to emphasize the Chicago Bears' Attitude, or you're thinking talk is cheap.

We have some special teams nuggets for you to digest and this first one is a little tough to swallow.

And some info on the Bears defense starting with one of the newest Bears...

I really think Jared Allen's professionalism and nonstop motor is great for his teammates.

FYI, both Conte and rookie DT Will Sutton missed practice for personal reasons.

What about the rookie #1 draft pick?

Yesterday it was learned that D.J. Williams still has the edge at middle linebacker, but Jon Bostic is working hard to win the job.

But what about that other young linebacker battling for a starting job...

I think the Bears would love for both Bostic and McClellin to outright win the Mike and Sam positions, but regardless, I think both will see plenty of playing time.

And a few other random Tweets...

Alshon Jeffery was among those that were held back a little.

What are your thoughts on Day 2?
