I thought that you guys might find this article interesting. While, in the interest of my peace of mind, I don't frequent Bleacher Report, I was there this morning and found this beauty of an article. The author (who is a syndicated columnist) has made projections for some rookies, and two of the guys in question are Brock Vereen and Ha Ha Clinton-Dix.
For Clinton-Dix, the author writes that "he was only able to muster two picks in 2013, after getting five in 2012... enthusiasm should be tempered for him early on."
For Vereen, he notes that "should (he) start, the potential is there for some nice numbers... there will be plenty of opportunities his way." Vereen is apparently projected for 20 more tackles and one more interception than HHCD, even though Vereen nabbed only a single interception during his final year of college. (By the way, Deone Bucannon will apparently have 76 tackles and three interceptions, which is justified, I guess, based on his senior year production, but he was almost universally considered a reach in the draft because he's far less likely to put up those numbers.)
I guess my question to you is, what do you guys expect from Vereen this season? I've heard that he's a really athletic player, but I'm not sure why the columnist in question has projected him to be statistically superior to Ha Ha.
