Why Chicago Bears could make a Surprise Super Bowl run - ESPN INSIDER

"Bears are NFC's sleeping Giant"

Hey guys I was on ESPN Chicago tonight & ran into this insider story on the Bears. As you know with insider stories, I could only read the first few paragraphs (enough to hook me ... but not enough to make me fork up the $ to read the rest) I was wondering if anybody had the entire article. Here's what I read:

"Preseason projections can often prove to be worth their weight in paper, but many prognosticators view the NFC as the power conference of the NFL, loaded with five heavyweights at the top: the Seahawks, 49ers, Saints, Packers and Eagles.

It's hard to argue against those teams, but history has shown us that sleeping giants emerge on a near annual basis in the NFL. Few foresaw a meteoric rise from Carolina last season, but 12 wins and sacks by the dozens later, the Panthers were hosting a divisional round playoff game.

The 2013 Chicago Bears were a far superior team to the 2012 Carolina Panthers, but Chicago has nonetheless been edged out of the conversation among contenders to emerge from the NFC. But they shouldn't be."

Although I've always gotten mad when hearing fans talk about "Chicago isn't respected" because the Bears have done nothing in the last 3 years to warrant respect, but I do like that people are at least talking about the Bears being just a step below that NFC elite - NO, GB, SEA, SF & Philly (I disagree Philly being elite but that's what you get in a division like the NFC East).

Anyways, I thought some people would enjoy this little tid-bit & hope somebody can share the rest of the story with us!
