The Chicago Bears have annouced on their website and twitter that the team has signed Notre Dame UDFA rookie linebacker Jarrett Grace. To make room for Grace, the team has released LB Danny Mason.

Mayer: Bears ink rookie linebacker Grace - ChicagoBears.com - The Bears on Wednesday signed undrafted rookie linebacker Jarrett Grace and waived linebacker Danny Mason. Grace was a tryout participant at Bears rookie camp May 13-15.
According to his bio at Notre Dame, Grace recieved the following career awards: Butkus Award Watch List (2014) and Notre Dame Rockne Student-Athlete Award (2013). Grace was out the second half of 2013's schedule and the entire 2014 season with a leg injury.
Grace played in 32 career games at Notre Dame, with 78 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss. He participated in the Bears rookie minicamp May 13-15 on a tryout basis.

Mason was on the Bears and Broncos practice squads in 2015, and the Texas A&M-Commerce product has also played in the Indoor Football League for the Texas Revolution and Colorado Ice.
